Also known as the Department of Inanity because the President published his memoirs and a collection of philosophical essays through this department. Basically, the OUSDOI publishes anything the Government feels the citizenry should know; from instructional brochures to propaganda movies, legislative proposals, biographies of major political figures and, for a short time until the Moral Fundamentalist Majority Coalition led by the First lady demanded their withdrawal, Professor Buttumsup's art-appraisal monographs On the Pursuit of the Aesthetic Moment and The Stalking Compass: Thoughts On the Perfection of Form.
